Thanksgiving brought an unexpected twist this year. One day after replacing the alternator in the Hyundai, my transmission blew out on my way home to Cincinnati. After the initial shock, I’m hoping that this is really a blessing in disguise. Instead of continuing to dump money into a car with 160,000 miles, I splurged and bought a 2006 Infiniti M35X while I was home.
Quite the step up from my Hyundai, I’m now busy trying to figure out how to connect my iPod, how to work the seat warmers, and navigating through the nav screen. The best part from my perspective is that I will hit my 30′s in great shape, with a new iPhone (that let’s me blog remotely, no less!), with an awesome new car, and with a new smile courtesy of Cancun (pun intended).
I’m off to Amelia Island Florida tomorrow for a five day retreat with work, but expect more posts and new Lou Challenges in the days and weeks to come. Make it a great December, my friends.
