2010: Year in Review

Wow. I did a ton of blogging in 2010. As I went back and read my old entries, I was shocked just how much content I was able to puke out into the blogosphere. Maybe 2011 will bring coherent thought and intelligent commentary… but then again, it probably won’t. Here’s a quick review of what we got done:

———————–

Ben Franklin – The Virtuous Life. This one never got off the ground, because it was difficult to make into actionable items. I still try to live my life by all most of these daily whenever I think about them.

Half-Marathon. Mission accomplished. Hoping to do a full one before 2011 is over, but that depends on the knee.

Online Dating. No more. I’ve had enough. I’m through with “dating.” Seriously. I’m happy with my life, and I welcome others to come and share it with me. (I’ll probably be at Agave.) I’d love to meet you. I’ll treat you well. We will have amazing adventures together. The sex will be amazing. But I’m not dating anyone until they are my girlfriend. Deal with it, blog readers.

Music Month Fail. I’ve tried. And failed. I will probably try (and fail) again this year.

Derby Picks and Over-Analysis. One thing I can promise for 2011: a shorter write up.

30 Days To A Better Man. I knocked out 70% of this in May. I’m trickling through the remaining days/Challenges now, and will back-date the posts as they are completed. Almost there. I loved this challenge, and recommend it to all men. Little things really add up to greatness (and strength of character). This Challenge led me to an e-book called the 12-Week Year, which will be the topic of a future post.

Warrior Dash. Fun, fun, fun. Every day is Halloween in my world (see: wolf hat). Can’t wait to do it again on a good knee.

Knee Injury Redux. Surgery pending. We shall overcome. Hopeful that it will be a “simple” scope instead of microfracture.

30bf31. More of a random collection than a list of goals. I got through most of these, but some will be on-going.

And while we are wrapping up the year, here is breakdown of my favorite moments/stuff/etc that happened in 2010:
